Green Economic Activities by K-Taxonomy Guidelines
The Korean Green Taxonomy (K-Taxonomy) is a guideline developed by the Ministry of Environment to provide clear principles and standards for green economic activities and to support the investment of green funds into green projects and technologies. Economic activities under the K-Taxonomy have been developed according to criteria such as contributions to environmental objectives and impacts on environmental improvements. Based on the revised K-Taxonomy guidelines of December 2022, SK Innovation has classified the 2023 business activities of the company and its subsidiaries *
and calculated the financial performances (Turnover, CapEx, OpEx) that meet the K-Taxonomy criteria. 17% of the revenue and 87% of the CapEx meeting the K-Taxonomy green economic activity standards.
